Manish Arora: Fashion's Brightest Star

Manish Arora graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi in 1994. He won the “Most Creative Student” award for his final collection.

Besides fashion, the multi talented designer has worked at various art exhibits. He was part of a spectacular show on Kitsch, which was exhibited at the India Habitat Center, New Delhi in 2001 and 2004. His works shared a platform alongside creations by various world-renowned Indian artists. The same work was then exhibited by Manish at Selfridges, London during their India promotion in 2002.

Manish Arora label appeals to a wide cross section of individuals among them are the, smart urban women, professionals, socialites and movie stars. Numerous celebrities have sported his creations and he has a faithful following among the smartest names not just in India but also worldwide. Anoushka Shankar wore a specially designed Manish Arora outfit at the Grammy Awards 2003.

Manish will be exhibiting some of his work at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London in September 2005 for an exhibition called “Global Local” in association with the British Council, India.
